Omeprazole Capsules I.P used for treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions caused by excess stomach acid. Olzep-20 also used to promote healing of erosive esophagitis (damage to your esophagus caused by stomach acid).
Treat Heartburn with ease:
Heartburn can mimic early symptoms of a heart attack. Get emergency medical help if you have chest pain that spreads to your jaw or shoulder and you feel sweaty or light-headed.

Direction of Use
Take Omeprazole Capsules I.P/Olzep-20 or delayed-release capsules before a meal, preferably in the morning. Take omeprazole powder for oral suspension on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before a meal
What precautions should I take when taking Omeprazole :
If you have an allergy to Olzep-20 or any other part of this drug. – Tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs. Make sure to tell about the allergy and what signs you had. This includes telling about rash; hives; itching; shortness of breath; wheezing; cough; swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat; or any other signs.
Olzep 20 MG Capsule interferes with the final step of acid release in the stomach. Thus, acidity in the stomach is decreased and the ulcer healing process is fastened. Common side effects of Olzep 20 MG Capsule are nausea, vomiting, headache, stomach pain, diarrhoea, and dizziness. Do not use this medicine if you are previously allergic to it. You have to take an omeprazole capsule as instructed by the doctor. Avoid spicy and fatty foods, alcohol, and reduce caffeinated drinks or beverage such as coffee, tea and cola while using this medicine. Eat a healthy and balanced diet. Always try to finish your dinner three hours before heading to bed.
The optimal dosage of Olzep is largely dependent on the individual’s body weight, medical history, gender and age. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.
Note:
Some other side effects of Olzep have been listed ahead. These side effects of Olzep are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.
It is also important to note that Olzep has a Mild effect for pregnant women and Moderate effect on lactating mothers. It is important to know if Olzep has any effect on the kidney, liver and heart. Information on such adverse effects, if any, has been given in the Olzep related warnings section.
