Alecensa 150 is a prescription drug used to treat non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has progressed from the lungs to other parts of the body and is caused by a mutation in the anaplastic lymphoma kinase ALK gene. Alecensa is an ALK inhibitor that contains the active ingredient alectinib.

Trying it for the 1st time
Statistics show that most patients love this medication a lot more as the actual cure is yet to be found. It is not particularly advisable to increase the dosage on your own if you ever miss the medication.
Warnings
Alecensa 150 has the potential to induce serious or even fatal side effects.
If you develop heart problems, such as severe dizziness or very slow heartbeats, or lung problems, such as fever, chest pain, cough, or difficulty breathing, call your doctor very once. Changes in the colour of your urine, little or no urination, swelling in your lower legs; or liver problems, including upper stomach pain, black urine, loss of appetite, and skin or eye yellowing.
What to stay away from
Alectinib may make you more susceptible to sunburn. During therapy and for at least 7 days following your final dose of Alecensa, stay out of the sun or tanning beds. When you’re outside, use protective gear and apply sunscreen (SPF 50 or greater).
What additional medications will have an effect on Alecensa?
Other pharmaceuticals, such as prescription and over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and herbal items, may interact with alectinib. Tell your doctor about all of your existing medications, as well as any new or discontinued medications.
How to take Alecensa 150mg alectinib capsules?
Twice a day with food. One should take Alecensa 150 mg alecensa capsules according to their doctor instructions.
